CAMP Travel-Themed Immersive Environments

Custom-designed Set Design for Narcissister Performance Art

Project Description

For the travel-themed immersion at CAMP, the ARCH team designed, built, stylized, and installed several interactive pieces to create an immersive retail experience for children that explores the wonders of the world.

Fabrication of the Great Barrier Reef involved foam-coating the custom shelving construction to create texture and depth. The piece was adorned with hand-cast seashells and coral pieces and finally airbrushed in a symphony of underwater blues and then highlighted in bright and black-light reactive paints.

African safari elements included our weathered and mechanically staged a jeep for interactive play.

Our 14′ long Eurorail train car, the giant 12′ tall faux-finished stone archway it passes under, and a multi-colored group of Parisian storefronts created the European experience.
