Facial Recognition Prototype Tower for Panasonic

Project Description

A custom fixture for the product testing of a facial recognition system for building security at Panasonic. Our client needed something custom to compliment the turn-style gate that could house the sensor and camera devices. ARCH consulted on materials, camera and monitor product choices, design, and positioning before engaging in the complete fabrication and installation of the tower. This prototype was a complex and exacting build that had to account for sliding mechanisms, a “blackout” of the public-facing screen, a fan cooling system, and access to panel controls and inputs—all in a very accelerated timeline with a perfection fine finish.
