Moose Knuckles Rube Goldberg Machine

Custom-designed Set Design for Narcissister Performance Art

Project Description

For Moose Knuckles‘ flagship Soho store location, ARCH was commissioned to produce an original concept and design for an interactive and engaging way to move merchandise from storage below onto the showroom floor.

The eye-popping result—The Moose Goldberg—a play on the Rube Goldberg machine in which the push of a button initiates a domino effect of motion in this two-story kinetic showpiece comprised of Canadiana whimsy and non sequitur, elegant intrigue—hockey sticks, an ice fishing hole, bicycle, dart board, newtons 8-ball cradle, champagne flutes, railcar tracks, a gilded closet rack, and more. The ARCH team engineered, built and installed this whimsical, mind-bending visual showpiece to transport consumers into Moose Knuckles’ grandeur universe at 57 Greene Street in NYC.
