Nike KD12 Merchandise Display

Project Description

Custom fabrication of IDL Worldwide’s brand activation for Nike KD12 involved a strong nod to the formative years of Kevin Durant’s 90’s root influences of video games and video replays of Michael Jordan highlights. Stacked VHS tapes were used as building blocks for branded display walls and custom pedestals with laser-etched lit copy and clear plexiglass toppers containing purple plasma tubes. Flanked by boom boxes and VCR players, old-school CRT TV’s were sourced to hollow and fill with LED lighting to illuminate custom floating shoe stand suspensions. All elements were painted white to complete a cohesive layout for the nostalgic retail display.
