Nike KD11

Project Description

IDL Worldwide’s brand activation desgin for Nike’s KD11 involved the custom fabrication of two stacked clear plexiglass cylinders housed in white powder-coated steel cages—one filled with white painted basketballs suspended from the ceiling, the other with basketball pillows atop a CNC-cut Nike React foam six-foot round.

Black vinyl laminate drums were constructed to house two six-foot trampoline displays—one housing exhibition lighting, the other for the shoe display on the trampoline below. Custom pedestals were topped with handcrafted mini trampolines mounted on Nike React foam, and platforms wrapped in paracord and courtwood. Plexiglass half cylinder trial benches with black foam toppers were made to match.
