Nike NY vs NY Retail Display

Project Description

To illustrate the idea that “each borough has its own identity, has its own sort of reputation, its own pride,” designs from IDL Worldwide for Nike’s NY vs NY involved the custom fabrication of various city and street elements. At each of four activation locations in NYC, chain link fencing was used as a display wall for hanging 40 custom graphic taped basketballs and Nike swoosh and graphics constructed from orange and white tape. A custom distressed bleacher display, distressed newstand, collage wheatpasted wall, stacked milk crates, street lights with court signage, and court graphics completed the look designed to celebrate summer basketball leagues in NYC.
