Project Description

Our new friends at DCF Advertising contacted us for creative street level solutions to celebrate pride at the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene at 303 9th Ave in Chelsea. Looking to honor the community with the colors of the new “Progress” pride flag and promote free vaccination available to all, ARCH devised an enduring approach with show-stopping impact in the form of hung mesh banners. The now iconic masked and bandaid-ed Statue of Liberty graphic used in NYC’s “All in favor of a COVID-19 vaccine, Raise your arm” campaign was chosen as the focal point for the facade. It was printed atop the “Progress” flag in our central banner at 16′ x 24′ and flanked by eleven 38′ tall banners—one for each of the 11 colors represented in the flag. All pieces were proudly rigged by the ARCH team from the roof of the building.
