Popcorn Box Projector for Rooftop Cinema Club

Project Description

Custom fabrication of an 8′ popcorn box to house the movie projector for Rooftop Cinema Club at Skylawn Rooftop Bar Embassy Suites in Manhattan. Featuring CNC-milled, LED-lit icons of “love, peace, and great film” atop red and white sintra construction, a custom metal armature, locking casters, hinged hatches with stay-open lid configuration, and a roof with a gutter system; the popcorn box is an iconic statement piece for Rooftop Cinema’s stand for social cinema.

Driven by the love of film, Rooftops offers a handpicked curation of cults, classics, and new releases with city skylines, sunsets, starlit evenings, awesome drinks, and delicious food.
