Tori Burch Foundation Embrace Ambition Summit

ARCH is proud to have provided 18 custom exhibition booths used to feature women-owned businesses at the Embrace Ambition Summit hosted by the Tory Burch Foundation. The marketplace at the #EmbraceAmbition Summit highlighted 17 different entrepreneurs and small business owners who have benefited from the Foundation programs.

The day-long summit held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on March 5, 2020 was an extension of Burch’s “Embrace Ambition” initiative, which she launched in 2017 to address the notion that the term “ambition” was a pejorative when applied to women. Although business and society have made progress, Burch notes that “at the root of gender inequality is millenniums of deep-seated bias, and that is what [is addressed] with our summit.”

Speakers included Burch, actress Ashley Judd, journalist Gretchen Carlson, Time’s Up president Tina Tchen, venture investor Kirsten Green, and Mellody Hobson, co-CEO of Ariel Investments.
